Summary

IUCTS and the Potomac Institute held a seminar on July 25, 2012 entitled, "Combating Olympic Terrorism: National and International Lessons." Four panelists analyzed London security from four distinct lenses: economy, police, sports law, and journalism. Not only did they draw upon the hazards facing athletes, spectators, and officials in 2012, but also discussed previous acts of terrorism directed at the Olympic Games such as the 1972 Munich Massacre.
